Founded in August 1985, the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (Arabic: المؤسسة اللبنانية للإرسال‎), widely known as LBC, is the first private television station in Lebanon. It went global in 1996 when it launched its satellite channel LBC Al-Fadha'iya Al-Lubnaniya (Arabic: الفضائية اللبنانية LBC Sat) covering the Middle East. It now has several channels covering Europe, North America,Australia, and Africa.

LBC America is a 24-hour Arabic language variety channel direct from Lebanon. Télé Lumière is a non-profit organization, its mission is ecumenical, it is not associated to any political party or movement, do not broadcast any political views and do not accept or promote any commercial endorsements. As a non profit broadcasting station, it has no lucrative purposes and survives only from various donations given by its supporters and friends. The Church cooperated with this television station since the beginning when she found it one of the best means to promote the principles of justice, love, freedom and human rights; values called for by Christianity everywhere. Télé Lumière is supervised by the Assembly of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Lebanon and directed by a committee involving religious leaders from various denominations and a group of laity eager to support this distinguished project. The relationship between the Church and Télé Lumière is organized through a "cooperation protocol". As for the Government, it considers Télé Lumière, through the Assembly of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops in Lebanon, a Christian station, financially independent and having freedom of management and programming controlled only by the authority of the Church. In June 2003, on Pentecost, Télé Lumière celebrated its 12th anniversary as well as the launching of its satellite station Noursat covering Europe, the Southwest Asia and North Africa. One year later, in the 8th of September 2004, Noursat began its official broadcast in North and South America, Canada and Australia. While many TV channels have become event-oriented, either focusing on terrorism, political turmoil and fanaticism, or are limited to amusement and scandals, the openness strategy of Télé Lumière and Noursat, promoting multi-cultural understanding and religious dialogue, have encouraged a large amount of Muslim viewers to watch and participate in the campaigns and programs strengthening peace, targeting coexistence and opposing immorality, violence and terrorism. After all these years of broadcast, Télé Lumière and Noursat have become a daily bread and hope for the Christian minority in the Arab world and the diaspora as well as a source of peace for many viewers from different denominations.

Sudan TV or Sudan National Broadcasting Corporation (SNBC) is an Arabic language television network. It is Sudan's national network and is government-owned and operated. Sudan TV is one of only two television networks in the country.

In 1962, Sudan TV started broadcasting in the Khartoum region. The signal was accessible in Khartoum city, Omdurman and Khartoum Bahry. One year later, General Mohmaed Talat Fareed established the station as a national broadcaster and signed a contract with Berlin Radio to provide technical support, cameras and recorders. In the seventies, Sudan TV expanded its transmission range when the General Company for Wireless and Wired Telecommunications built a satellite station. بدأ التلفزيون العربي السوري إرساله مساء يوم 23 تموز عام 1960 من قمة جبل قاسيون في دمشق ، حيث أقيمت أول محطة إرسال بقوة / 10 / كيلو واط ، واستمر الإرسال لمدة ساعة ونصف فقط في اليوم الأول من داخل استديو متواضع شُـيِّـدَ بجانب محطة الإرسال .. واعتمد على الكوادر الفنية المتواجدة آنذاك في مديرية الإذاعة بعد أن أُرسلت إلى الخارج في دوراتٍ تدريبية قصيرة .

ولم يكن الإرسال يتم في وقت واحد إلى مراكز المحافظات حمص وحلب حيث شُـيِّـدت محطتا إرسال في كلٍ منهما بقوة / 10 / كيلو واط لكل محطة ، لعدم وجود شبكة وصل ميكروية تربط المحطات بعضها ببعض ، بل كانت تبث في دمشق في اليوم الأول ثم تبث محافظات حمص وحلب الأشرطة المسجلة في اليوم التالي ، وكان البث وقتذاك بالأبيض والأسود .

وفي عام 1966 ، تم إنشاء محطة رابعة للبث قرب صلنفة التي تبعد 45 كم إلى الشرق من مدينة اللاذقية ، وفي عام 1967 تم لأول مرة ربط محطات دمشق وحمص وحلب وصلنفة بشبكة وصل ميكروية بحيث أصبح التلفزيون يبث برامجه في آنٍ واحد من استوديوهاته في دمشق إلى جميع المناطق
